Explore many techniques for forming this amazing metal! This class is designed for all skill levels, from those who have no previous experience up to the seasoned metalsmith! You'll make several small bowls and vessels as well as a copper rose in this delightfully inspiring class.

Copper Bowls

Come and learn how to bring out the beauty and natural organic flow of copper in this workshop. You will learn several techniques of raising and shaping hot copper. You will also explore many beautiful finish options. Forge work, controlled hammer and mold work as well as machine and hand finishing demonstrations will let you produce your own unique creation with this beautiful metal. All materials and safety gear provided.

Metals Mania Summer Camp

Gather your children around the forge this summer for our three-day Copper Camp. Your young artists, scientists, historians, and adventurers will learn all about copper through field trips, visiting artists, hands-on metal projects, games, themed lunches and demonstrations. Campers will make a copper bowl, a bookmark, a super-cool enameled manga character and have so much fun, they won't realize they are learning. Parents are invited for a demonstration and refreshments on the last day. It's bound to be a blast. You'll wish you were a kid again.
